Overview

The menopausal period comprises about one-third of average women’s life. During this period, womens are vulnerable to conditions caused by estrogen deficiency from short term discomfort to long term health problems.

It usually occurs naturally, most often after age 45 years. It happens because of the women’s ovaries stop producing the hormones, estrogen and progesterone. It is characterised by an altered hormonal status and subsequent decrease in quality of life, affecting each women differently.

Decline and eventual cessation of estrogen production are associated with the appearance of Symptoms and Pathogenesis

  • Vatta-Pitta hara treatment
  • Rasayan Chikitsa
  • Proper counselling of patient

Ayurvedic preparations

  • Ashokarishta with water after meal
  • Ashwagandha powder with milk half an hour before meal
  • Praval pisthi half an hour before meal
